Nearly 1,000 ceremonies observed National Vietnam War Veterans Day on March 29 to thank and honor Vietnam veterans, according to Vietnam War Commemoration, including a wreath-laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
