Game on!
The warmer weather brings us a new season of sports. If your child plays softball, baseball, soccer, or track and field, they may be leaving sporting equipment in your car or in various corners of your garage. Make sure your kids are putting their equipment in the designated spot you’ve created for them so you stay organized!
Leave it at the door.
March and April have brought snow and rain to different parts of the country. Whether you’re coming in from a hike or your child had baseball practice and is bringing dirty cleats into the house, make sure to leave shoes at the door. This will keep you from spending time cleaning mud and wet shoe prints in your home later!
If it doesn’t fit, donate it!
Sporting equipment, practice clothes, or a regular springtime wardrobe, it doesn’t matter. If something doesn’t fit or it’s no longer being worn or used, donate it! If you donate clothes, sports equipment, or other items to ClothingDonations.org, you help support our veterans programs! Simply go online, schedule a donation pickup time, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Bring it in team!
If your kids are practicing for soccer or tennis outside, don’t let them leave soccer balls or bats in the lawn. Just as it’s important to have a clutter-free home, your yard should also be clean! Make sure your athletes bring their practice gear into the garage or designated storage area when they’re done practicing!
